Colchester Pond

Broke the skunk! This guy ate on one of my last casts walking back to the car. Tried pretty much everything in my tackle box befor we this, but the steady retrieve with my trusty little cleo did the trick. Before getting to this spot, I drove for 3 hours and went to 3 other spots, but they all had separate problems. The grind paid off today. If I'm not mistaken, the jetty fishing should turn back on soon, so hopefully I can get on some more lakers next week.

Northern pickerel, first fish of the year, delicious.

After a rough day on the kayak yesterday. A 5 hour slugfest with nothing to show but a dink and a big hog of a fish that broke my line just as I was about to grab it. I went out for a quick couple hours fishing from shore with my 6yo and managed to haul this decent smallie.
