Augur Lake

My son is at camp for the summer, here’s his first pike of the season:-)! they didn’t have a tape, but they had a scale.. 6.5

Great evening on the lake!! Didn’t get a picture of the little 32” pike.. btw, fishing weekend is a great time to teach your daughter to drive on empty dirt roads;-)

Phenomenal pike morning! My daughter had two in the 40” range up to the boat, one tore out of the rubber net and took off! Time to get to work, fishing again at sunset:-)

6 fish (4 bass and 2 pike) in 30 minutes, driven off by whitecaps and thunderstorms. Augur lake never disappoints:-) we’re going to hit it again at dawn before breakfast and work tomorrow!

#Catch22 Last night at Augur lake, caught two smallish largemouth (for Augur lake;-) got refused by a couple of bigger pike. Today, I finish building the cabin addition with the campers.

#catch22 Successful fishing trip with my daughter and her friend at camp! We got up with the sunrise to fish, my daughter’s friend caught this nice 34” pike casting a #5 mepps comet spinner she chose from the box, she caught it all on her own, her new PB!
