My mother caught her first flounder 17inch keeper we rubbed it with hot sauce dreaded and fried it has to be the best-tasting fish we have tried so far except mangrove snapper idk if anything tastes better than that

Pier to plate... Fresh-caught Mississippi Gulf Southern Flounder, special rub and marinade with butter patties, Romano tomatoes and sweet onion. Baked then broiled a bit. "Everything" @pita chips on da side...giddyup!

Had to run an errand back in D'Iberville, MS this morning. Keep my gear in the Jeep and passed my old spot where I caught that 22" last year. Casted a few times near weeds on shore then decided to drag my Gulp mullet lure across the bottom along pier. Thought it was hung up, let out some line, walked back and forth and then it started pulling. Sucker swallowed my lure whole. Right at 15" and fat. Supper tonight.
