Do all monsters this size carry worms ?

Today I got a late start to my fishing trip, I had to go to physical therapy for 7 and was done by 7:45. So I picked up my crew and headed out to Pointe Aux Chene. Where we made the trek down the levee at the end of Island rd to the dam. We gave the spot about an hour and a half and caught only a few white trout and one speckled trout. Then we stoped at a spot that has produced small fish in the past and boy did we find a white trout hole. For the next couple of hours we caught more than 50 small trout to get to the larger ones like the one pictured. The bait of the day was plastics, I had used my last power prawn jr, one of my other guys used the sparkle beetle, and my other guy was using a locally made swim bait. We fished all day until the sun settled under the horizon. I prayed that we catch fish which filled my large bait cooler, but not one of those reel dragging reds came out to play. I’m going back to Lake P. Quality over quantity.
