First ever fishing in November! Got a decent bass after only getting gobies and rock bass for the last 3 trips

Danny vs. Grand, round 2, fight! Cold morning, I jumped off at a road side spot and started blindly casting my newfound love, the Ned. Within a few casts, I hooked what felt like a piece of driftwood. A pike showed itself and barely fought due to the cold I assume. Forging on, I waded upstream in progressively shallower water until I hit a golf course and turned back. I went down the road to Snyder's flats and tried all 3 ponds for a bit with no action, then made my way to the river again. Down stream turned into shallow fast waters again, so I went upstream after a couple of kayakers informed me of the deeper waters. Aside from the many tiny gobies and occasional babies, I didn't really see any big bass. At one point with water deep enough that I couldn't see the bottom, it happened. This beast of a SM took Mr. Ned and gave my arms a workout. He barely fit my little trout net and came out just a hair over 4lb! Definitely my PB SM. A few casts after, still with a leftover dose of adrenaline in my veins, another one hit around the same spot! Although it came out a bit smaller, at bit over 3.5lb, this guy made my arm sore with his runs. I spent around 8 hours exploring (wading through a LOT of unfishable waters) and came out with 3 nice fish.
