Smith Lake

Finally got to hit the lake again. Only one, but it was the one! 20” x 4.4 lbs on my wake bait. Hit like a truck and took a lot of line out. (Set at 20lbs, so it was a great fight). Tight lines y’all.

Well, not the intended target. Nothing like a catfish on a crank. But hey, not a skunk.

Nice quick trip to the lake. Happy I landed this nice 14” x 1.76lbs beauty on my 110 bluegill whopper. Tight lines y’all!

A nice day out. Mom and daughter went for a walk and I landed this pretty gal on my wake. Always a good day when you lip a bass.

Finally got to get some time out at the lake. Overall slow, but grabbed this 1.98 lbs, 16” beauty on my wake bait. I’ll call it a victory for the day.

1 of 2 bigguns today. Had to release my other one almost immediately with no pictures because she would have bled out. Hook buried itself under the tongue into the gill. I pray momma survived.

Great Father’s Day. Dad always took my brother and I fishing on this day, so, this being my first, keeping the tradition alive. Caught 3, but lost one in the overgrowth as I was pulling it onto shore. But still two lipped bass is a great day. Happy Father’s Day y’all!
