Spokane River

First cast, but only catch. Probably my smallmouth bass PB, but didn't weigh or measure it.

Finally got a whitefish on this river. Been trying all summer.

Another beautiful cutthroat.

I caught a salmon where there aren’t supposed to be salmon. He fought with such tenacity that I thought he was a big cutthroat. Boy was I surprised.

I’m not sure why I hate the thought of sharing these beautiful fish. Why am I okay with sharing stocker bows, pike, and bass? These cutthroat trout are so special and I feel like sharing them too often runs the risk of uneducated anglers coming in and harming these delicate and beautiful creatures. Wet your hands before you touch fish.
