There’s something majestic and eerie about these deep glacial lakes. Untold mysteries in these deep waters that happen to be deeper than four of the Great Lakes, yet a lot smaller than any of them. Rowing around and hunting monsters, I hooked into what looked like a massive rainbow. It broke the hook off my fly. Guess I’ll have to tie on some thicker wire before Winter comes.

To say Saturday was an amazing day……would be a criminally underrated statement. Me and the brother were fortunate enough to take out grandpas big bass boat to fish our second Bassin buddies tournament of the year! Not only is this the first time we have ever taken that boat without grandpa, WE PLACED SECOND!!!!!!!! Overall this is one of those days that couldn’t be more perfect. Amazing weather, amazing time together and amazing fishing!!!!!! It was a slow day but we scrapped together 13lbs 4oz for the second place finish!!!!! Thank you my brother and thanks for grandpa and the uncle for letting us compete against them in the big boat!!!!!! Good luck all and much love!!!!! 😀👊🎣
