Caught on 3 ounce weight with 20 inch leader with herring head

Caught 2, one almost completely swallowed the hook, not an easy time getting it out…

After tiring of flossing on the rivers, we decided to try our luck at something we know about; surfcasting bottom rigs. Hung out in Ninilchik and caught about a dozen of these sculpins. Catch and release of course but they hit like porgies, reminded us of sea robins and we had tons of fun. #BaitNWin
