l'Assomption River

Caught 4 redhorses in a span of less than 30 minutes and a small fishy! Also saw my first crawfish at this spot so that's good to know. The redhorses took a few minutes before leaving, but when they did they left with a huuuge splash so I think they will do just fine haha

After half an hour of nothing and reeling in my worms, a baby pike was following my worms and bite! But... I was not able to catch it since my hook was the smallest possible hook you can think of since I was trying to catch tiny baby fishes since I usually get no big fishes here at this time of the year. Would of been my first pike!! Second pike spotted here, so I'll keep trying :') Ps- hard to belive but the pic is actually a drawing a made to represent how close the pike was to the shore..... I know, Im a talented artist.
