BACK ON THE BOAT - Fishing with Dad! I drove up to QLD to spend time with Mum on her birthday (and Dad & I snuck in some fishing sessions). We headed to the Noosa River first day with plenty of Bream and Moses Perch to go around. Dad managed a decent Flattie but he let it go and I scored a beautiful Little Rock Cod. stunning autumn weather but slightly windy. Second day we went to the Maroochydore River and I’m not going to lie…STELLAR SESSION. I was on fire 😝 …my first fish was a Chonky 33cm Bream with several more to follow. I even snagged a mud crab. But the best catch was a whopper of a Flathead at 56cm. My last PB was also 56cm so I’m still chasing a new PB. We also found a spot with plenty of smaller Flathead. We took home 6 fat Bream. All over 29cm and the Flattie. We did get drenched heading back to the boat ramp but that didn’t dampen our spirits. So nice to spend time with dad!!
