Thought I was gonna get skunked today after making an irresolvable nest out of my baitcaster. Lucked out with my son’s panfish gear, landing two of the world’s tiniest bluegills. 😂 Think I got a solid catfish bite, but the Zebco didn’t have the spine to set the hook. Maybe next time.

Managed to get out at first light this morning to try out my nee Rapala jerkbaits. First cast brought a violent strike. Managed to land my very first bass. It was the only bite I got all morning, but at least I wasn’t skunked. 😂
