Proud dad moment. We've been practicing casting for a while, and Nora finally got her first completely solo fish!

Seems I’m only allotted 1️⃣ fish when I hit the lake for <2hrs. Still a great day!

They say it’s football season🏈 #struggleyak Today was more like pre-k ball🤣👽🎣 Once again couldn’t get anything going till I busted out the swimjig ‼️🔥. Had hits, swipes at the crank but nobody would fully commit😬 This was the first fish I’ve caught in this particular spot on the lake, so that’s a plus🐟😙

🚨New PB🚨 1lb 9.87oz previous was 1lb 9.37😂. #struggleyak I know I’ve caught bigger but now I’m actually using a scale‼️. Quick late afternoon trip and couldn’t get anything going with the crank or worm😬 Of course the #divineswimjig came through once again👍👽 Just chipping away at the #anglr challenges🎣

Apparently this lake has rock bass . Allegedly there’s only: Largemouth, bluegill, yellow perch and catfish! 2 on the 6thsense crush50x in boiled crawfish and two on the divine swimjig!

#struggleyak is minimizing the struggle and every fish is now getting a net😬. Did a quick trip and just stayed in one spot

When the fish are biting but you happen to be the biggest factor in why you only brought 1️⃣ on the yak‼️This little dink saw the struggle yak and decided to help me out🤣🐟👽 Because Instead of using the net as I should, I was “I’ll just lip it and rip it out of the water, no need for no net❌” and lose 4 in total 😬 Even then, it was still a good day out💪🏽

Only caught one slipping today on a short <2hr trip. 👍👽 But it was on the #axiscrankbait and 2nd day in a row where the #crankbait brought in something🔥🔥. Maybe I’ll get back out there later today
