Countdown Lake

A couple of hours at super low weedy pond…not interested in topwater…only action on drop shot with Texas rigged TRD finesse worm green pumpkin…largest almost 2 pounder, lost one in the grass and lost rig on hookset…fun but tough slow fishing

Another late post from a few hours last Monday…caught a couple nice bluegills on a drop shot plus Googan Hummer buzzbait bass as well as Googan Lunker cinnamon wacky worm…overall a good day. Think bass spawn complete, hopefully the biggins are ready to fatten back up 🤞

Tough day today but a biggin makes it worth the time…kind of redemption cause Sunday I lost a topwater walking bait after a big strike, stuck in the grass then eventually broke off…found the lure today so at least the fish is prob okay and I found the lure👍…a related note…my FG knot held🤜🤛…the fluorocarbon broke off at the lure or somewhere along the leader…

Couple hours on the pond this morning...overall fishing has been tough as the pond is getting more moss/algae growth and shallower. Today I caught 7-8 overall, no biggins, but got the best one on buzzbait...the rest on a micro chatterbait with cane thumper swimbait trailer...i like the wind but it definitely makes finesse fishing difficult...so had to stick with the reaction bite...

Nice chunk I caught a few days ago...topwater buzzbait...overall fishing was tough but worth it when you get a surprise topwater bite...

Pretty tough day only caught one but was still happy.
