Licking River

Found a school of shad so thick at first I thought it was the bottom of the river. One throw and landed over a hundred only using a 4 foot net. Used them to catch 23lb 14oz, 12lb 11oz blues, 6lb 12oz flathead and a couple dink channels. 60 degrees in February had them moving. Good luck and tight lines 🎣🙏

Been busy, first time out this year. Lucked out and caught all 3 main species of cat and a carp on my first outing of the year. The flatty made my day. It's only a little over 12 lbs but I almost never catch them in January or February. Tight lines and have a safe and happy week 🎣🙏👍

Last fish of 2023. Caught a decent blue, a few channels and a surprise catch. First gar I've ever caught 👍 Happy New Year everyone, hope 2024 brings you health, happiness and that pb you're dreaming of 🐟🙏

This guy had to feel that every time he bumped the bottom. Supposed to hit the water at 6 a.m. but got tied up till 2 p.m. Caught 5 of these little guys and I'm glad I hooked this one.

Almost 60 today in Dec. 👍 Rained off and on all day which wasn't to bad. But the lightning ended the trip. 28.15 and a 5.6 blue. And probably a 4.5 to 5 lb channel. Had another blue bigger than all 3 together snap 40lb mono right beside the kayak as I was reaching for her. 😪 Tight lines and have a happy and safe weekend 🎣👍

Sunday on the river. Wasn't lazy like yesterday, I hunted them down. A 29, 17.5, 8.6 and a 5lb on the way back to the truck. Tight lines everyone, hope you're catching fish and having a good time like I am. 🎣👍
