Good Weekend 🤘🎣

Took my eldest nephew on my favorite local lake. He caught his first crappie. He was more interested in switching kayaks to try my pedal drive hobie rather than fish more. I can’t blame him it’s awesome. Managed to get three largemouth on wacky rigged senko, two huge crappie on crankbait and a bluegill crazy enough to bite the crank bait. Over all great day. Tight lines to all. Happy 4th of July weekend!

Took my nephew fishing at a local lake, he caught his pb largemouth. He got it on ultralight tackle to boot. We also got perch, crappie and bluegill. Think that we also caught shad it was the biggest shad I’ve seen that I caught. Also caught my pb crappie. Lost three good bass too due to light tackle setup, oh well that’s fishing. Launching the yaks was nasty had to walk through a couple feet of black muck because they lowered the water to fix the dam. Overall great day and worth the hard work. Favorite local lake, not many close to me. Still catching ok bass there just looking for that big one...little crankbait gets’em biting. Might change to plastics or bigger lure to draw out the fat bass.

Caught the biggest bass yet on this little lake! It was 13 inches but my scale was out of battery power.. bummer. But I also finally caught my crappie with a pic. As always many beautiful panfish, bluegill and pumpkinseed. Another great day on the moken feel free yak!

Great day on the yak! 4 species caught, large mouth bass, perch. Bluegill... and a crappie I hooked had In the boat and then flopped out! So no pic on the crappie.
