Fly fishing is tough but so exciting when you hook a fish and feel the line running through your fingers. Morning bite was good but then when the sun came up my set up wasn't catching as many fish as the people with a bait set up so I headed home.

Fishing all day yesterday with Laura. 10 Perch, 1 Croaker, & 1 baby Horned Sculpin. The big Perch is 11" but Laura still has the record 12" Perch.

quick session this morning. 2nd cast brought in a Jack Smelt, 5th cast another Smelt. I was thinking about switch out to lures in hopes of a striper but decided to keep the C-rig and sandworm going. cast a couple times and Bam! Striper. First ever for me, it was a good fight.
