First fall cold front came through yesterday, and thankfully I was able to catch this guy to help break a little drought that I had been in. #Catch23

Another solid 17" tonight, caught maybe 4 or 5 other small ones as the sun was going down. Plus you know the fishing is going well, when the mosquitos come out, and you just throw on another layer and add some more bug spray! #Catch23

I legitimately try at least 1 or 2 other spots before I end up here. Caught this 18.5" tank as well as a 12, and 14" before work today! #Catch23

Got another 17" tonight, but he felt heavier, and fought harder than most. #Catch23

3rd and final of the morning, again taking off as the lure was dropping. Makes it hard to be patient on your casts here when the catches usually come so quick! 😅

Pulled this guy out like a cast or two after the last, casted onto a little underwater gravel bar I could see, and he nabbed it as the current pushed my lure over the drop-off.

The minnowz was hot again this morning, this 16.5" didn't even let it hit the bottom before he took it
