I added a 5" purple reaction bait with imbedded foil on a whim. Retrieval was slow, very slow, just off the bottom in 18-20' of water. The little guy hit it so hard I thought it was a bigger fish.

killed the crappies today with some buddies got a few blue gil too

I had a great time with my Neice teaching her to fish. We caught 13 Sunnies, 3 Perch and 1 Crappie, but the time we spent together was priceless.
