Did not expect to catch this one when we had tip ups set up for pikes! Especially in only 6 ft deep water.

And some micro walleyes to end the trip. Overall, didn't catch a TON of fish with great size, but did at least catch a couple with size. Plenty of quantity too. Was a ton more fun than the 4-inch perch I had been catching so far this year, lol. I had lots of fun and can't wait to get back out on the ice!

Pretty nice morning bite yesterday as well. Smaller size, but frequent bite. Fish seemed to be more gentle on the bite as well.

Even caught a 12 ¾ inch walleye with the rattle reel on a big rainbow minnow late last night.

Caught my PB walleye! Fishing definitely wasn't slow yesterday. Not any keepers, but plenty of quantity. Previous PB: 17 inches. 1.56 lbs. New PB: 23 ¾ inches. 4.56 lbs.

Awesome bite yesterday! Nothing huge for sauger, but one keeper. Much more action than the evening prior.

Finally made it to LotW! Got to the spot pretty late due to bridge troubles and whiteout conditions, but we still caught some fish! Caught my first sauger, too! Though we did catch several fish between the 3 of us here, none were of any size. We're going to fish the morning bite, and if the fish are still the same quality, we're going to move the ice castle to a bit deeper spot around noon. Anyways, great fun yesterday, and I am looking forward to the next 2 days we've got here!
