I guess I forgot to post the crappie last night 😅. Great way to kill an hour or two after school. It's always fun when the crappie are biting, even if they aren't huge.

Was amazingly warm Thursday, warm enough to go out in just a sweatshirt and jeans. For the hour we were out there, it was a good variety of catches. Not just small angry perch.

Caught another shiner, too. Plus, cool moon.

Pretty poor weather yesterday. Caught some small perch, but I think I'm going to try another lake next time I go out around here.

Even caught two crappie today, not a bad size compared to the others so far this season, either. Amazing fishing today, but based on the weather, I never would have come out fishing if it wasn't for my new pop-up. Just yesterday, I finally got a pop-up ice tent. An Eskimo Quickfish 3. Nothing fancy, but does the job when it's below zero out, especially for the price.

Finally, got on some sunfish through the ice. Still not quite anything worth keeping, but it's getting there.
