Big School Lot Lake

A little slow but ended up with 7 to clean. This 9” gill was on the beds and hit on a minnow. #catch22

Beautiful day, slow bite. Beautiful colors on these gills.

Crappie were not biting but made up for it with a slew of gills!

Tucked in a little cove I don’t normally fish to get out of the wind and ran into a nice bunch of crappie and a few nice gills too,

Fishing has been slow. Picked up some today, but took 5 hours to catch 10 keepers. So glad I retired last year, I love relaxing and wetting a line!

Got skunked in first 4 spots then got into some decent crappie and gills at a spot i didnt fish for a couple years. Perseverance paid off!

The bite picked up a little yesterday. 10 gills for the freezer.

Fishing has been slow but managed to get 6 gills for dinner. Didn’t start biting until about 6 pm.
