Watterson Lake

these were just two of my catches before my phone died not bad. I've been trying to catch this gold fish for five weeks now and I finally got it. can anyone tell me what this is. my guess is it's someone's pet they put in there or something like that there is also a yellow one that is way bigger than that. so awesome!

today I went fishing like usual. and saw something that brought a tear to my eye. this poor little guy was swimming around about 5 ft from me surfacing every few seconds. it got close and I reached down and picked him up out of the water with no fight at all. then I saw him. to everyone who fishes and loves fishing please try to keep our lakes and ponds clean and pick up our lines and hooks even if we get stuck or tangled up. "if any way possible" this poor catfish and someone's bait and hook they cut and he almost tore his jaw off trying to get free. the line finnaly broke but then he couldn't defend himself or eat cause he swollowed the hook. he's so scarred up because the rusting metal in his system caused him to go blind so he was bouncing off of rocks. I tried to save him but by the time I got the hook out it was to late. I'm sorry little guy. please guys let's keep our animals and fish safe so our children and grandchildren can experience it like we did. even tho he was a dink he could have been a giant. I am not passing judgement on anyone I just want his story to be told so maybe we can prevent this next time. thanks guys fish on my friends.. #aquaticlyfe
