Unnamed / Mach Ln Pond

I caught a pregnant channel on a yellow jig and redworms. I was trying to fish for bluegill on my ultralight. She put up a good fight!

What an absolute unit, and I didn't even catch it! I held it for my wife, though! #catch22

I've caught bigger blues, but man is this one gorgeous.

1/20 ned rig with a Smallie Beaver on it. Caught like 20 bass this size within the hour. I pretty much walked it on the floor slowly and kept landing little bois.

Still new to catching cats and avoiding their barbs. This lil guy was hard to handle with one hand because he was full of energy. Put up a pretty good fight for a small one. Caught him using a small treble and tube using sudden impact bait.

I have a ton of bluegill in my pond. I caught so many this size on the 4th. Sight fishing is so much fun! I use redworms since nightcrawlers are kinda big for a small hook. Plus there's 30 reds in a tub compared to a dozen nights.

Was fishing for bluegill but caught a channel instead. Haven't caught another one since.
