Richland Creek Spill-Off

Figured I would go out before my mom‘s wake up lol! Haven’t been to this old reliable Creek in a long, long time, creek was inactive, but at least I got a baby crappie out of the lake! Happy Mother’s Day everyone!

Haven’t fished in days so I decided to head out before work and Caught this little guy in centennial lake today! Water was super high up this morning! With the new job starting I won’t be posting as much as normal but will try to get out at least once a week!!

I'm grinning in this picture because I had just figured out where a nest of sunfish were. I could see the shadows of the bigger ones, and was about to switch over to Trout magnet to start reeling em in. Unfortunately, my children decided this was a good time to have a meltdown and instead I had to pack it up and take them home. 🤣🤦

If it weren't for the fact that I am moving around the pond, I would almost think that I just keep catching the same baby bass over and over again. 🤣

Ok, THIS is a bass. A baby bass. I'm beginning to wonder if maybe the pond was recently stocked with little fries?

Just all the tiny stuff! Beats nothing, I guess?

Not going to lie, when I caught this I thought it was another baby bass. Now that I'm looking at the picture, maybe a baby crappie? Fishial.ai is baffled.
