First time catching one of these guys!

No idea what these fish are… I’m used to fishing for just bass

first salt water catch ever in the most beautiful waters I could have asked for. what an amazing trip

back in Sept had some 3 days or so of strong southerly winds. pushed this cero mackerel up into the creek I actually caught him fishing the mangroves for snapper. A pleasant surprise. I also kept the jack. perfect size for fish tacos. (bleed them immediately and remove the blood line. they're actually pretty tastey)
