South Platte River

Went to eleven mile lake and the dream stream with my brother in law. Caught a bunch of weeds at eleven mile and some small bows in the stream. Didn’t get any pictures of my catches. Gorgeous!day, slow fishing.

Another fun day at the dream stream! Got on some pretty fish. I had a 30 incher on the end of my line but he hid under a rock and got snagged up. Would’ve been my pb fs.

Went up to the dream stream for a couple days and vamped at 11 mile. Pulled some fish out of both places and got to do so on my fly rod. Caught the big guy on a chocolate foam nymph and the smaller guys on a pmd rainbow nymph. Tight lines everyone! 🤙

Had one but got away. Probably a trout.

Took a break from hunting pike and went to the dream stream

New spot 220miles from my house water was at 50cfm and needed to be at 100 to be normal so no big fish in the creek they are all in the res at the bottom. Had a blast pet some wild cows and donkeys and caught alot of trout

Here’s another pretty rainbow from Tuesday’s adventure with Sam from Trouts Fly Fishing. He really set me up with great fishing and a solid tailgate hot lunch!! This one took a Top Secret Midge size 20, but don’t tell anyone…its top secret.
