McIntosh Lake

This Carp took awhile to notice my corn, he was a hard fighter. Sent him back to the water shortly afterwards.

Caught my first Wiper today!

Another day another walleye to avoid the skunk. Another female too. Still full of eggs. Still in pre-prespawn. Soon it’ll turn on!

Managed to keep the skunk away once again on the local lake. The water just won’t break the temperature it needs for these fish to really turn on but we will keep on trying!

Managed at least one this morning. Spoke to several other Fisherman and they were doing about the same. Hopefully the lake starts to warm up soon!

Well, I suppose it’s better than a skunk! I’m just thankful I was finally able to get out after a few windy days. Tomorrow is supposed to be even nicer and I hope the bite turns on.

We are so back! After missing all my planned fishing time this past week due to flight delays that left me stranded in Fargo, North Dakota I had to get that drug of the tug! Let’s go!
