Hine Lake

My most notable catch this fall. A fat 11 inch yellow perch. I have been catching a bunch of trout lately, but nothing over 13 inches. So this catch got me all excited.

It was very fun for about the first two hours, but then it got really windy 😂 we had an awesome t I’m e though, we caught twelve rainbows and it was a great time with my buddy Hank

Ever since Chatfield rose there waters I haven’t been able to catch crap. After 3 days in a row of every type of lure, bait, and fly you can think of nothing at all. I tried a new place to end my streak of bad luck and it was amazing! It was bite after bite of some of the prettiest rainbows I’ve seen. I’ve been craving some trout dip/spread so that’s exactly what I made. Overall, a great day at the lake. I definitely found my new favorite spot. 😝

Be careful harvesting fish out of hine lake they got some sort of parasite this winter.

Definitely some aggressive guys, lost two guys right at shore just trying to unhook them. haha still counts as a land if you at least touch them, right?
