North Pacific Ocean (US/CA)

Used whole squid and a little piece of anchovy to give a scent boost. Caught 4 in total over about 2.5hrs. Had to stop because a huge surf lesson started moving down the surf directly in front of me😑 first time ever beach fishing like this and it was an absolute blast!!! Tight lines everyone💪

A other good day chasing halibut. Limits of 6 halibut plus 1 sanddab. Tossed back 3 shakers.

Surf fishing in Northern California is slow until Sandcrab starts laying eggs at the California shores starting mid February. We hike a very well known hiking trail in the Marin Country to the beach. Of Course I had to wet my fishing line no bites but the hiking trail is beautiful.
