My first King Salmon on a Spin and glow no eggs. Was caught on Friday, June 12, 2020 this morning at 9:30 AM on incoming high tide. She was a great fight for about ten minutes. The current made the fight even better.

Caught this female silver salmon in my usual spot is in a bobber rig and some freshly cured eggs that I made from the night before.I put some extra borax in them and sugar as well as dried them longer and they really had a great consistency almost like gummy bears but other than that I had great time with a good fight and lots of action. I was able to pull it in safely to the bank without a net and get her tied up and take her home

Silver Salmon are still running strong in this creek until next week then I will head north about 25 miles to another spot and keep “reelin” them in for another two weeks. Great fight, great tasting and awesome action.

Caught two more Silvers today at the same spot during outgoing tide. One at 10 lbs (Male) and the other at 12 lbs (Female). I cut and filleted them already and harvested the eggs.
