A great Morning & Night deep see session with my wife, and what an experience. We caught multiple small species, but the caught of the day was my new PB on a 5.7kg Kabeljou & 5.1 kg yellow mount, and the bait was the elf my wife caught. I will recommend DEEP SEE ANGLER (PIETER) for anyone in Langebaan to really experience deep see fishing. What a great short but sweet holiday.

One for the books. Late afternoon fishing of the coast of langebaan departed out of hout bay. Got 4 strikes on the back, which put us on the fish. We were about 300kg away from being full up being 8Ton. I stripped my bait in the hope of getting a bluefin as we were seeing their airbladders on the echo. Rigged up my own special bait, and a few seconds after stripping i was ON! It was 45 minutes of insanity! The fish being the size it s had me walking around a very uncomfortable bau. I found myself sitting on the bollard of the bau 3 or 4 times. Put my drag up just a touch and started cranking. Arms, back, legs. Agony. Cant wait for these babies to hit the shallower waters again.
