Lower Buckhorn Lake

We managed to get out after dinner. We had some worms we needed to use up. One Rock Bass, one Smallmouth and Marion caught her first ever Walleye! 👏👏👏

Another gorgeous day. Marion got one LM and I managed 3. That's more than I got all week. Put on a Xzone Fat Finesse Worm. Never used them before. Then I found some Liquid Mayhem, crayfish scent. Never used that before either. Put some of that on. First cast, first fish!🤣 I need to look deeper in my tackle bag in the future. Unfortunately it's our last day at Three Castles Resort. Heading home tomorrow. Not sure if I'll be getting out again this fall. If not I'll see everyone on the hard water.

Weather- perfect Fishing - great Catching- not so great!😁 For the daughter's second fish we were in a bunch of schmegy and I told Jenny to put something on that she's never used before. She put on a mouse and voila. If it's not the wife it's the daughter!😁👍

Marion got this nice bass shortly after I missed a larger one. She didn't think so but I told her mine was so far from the boat when it jumped and spit the hook, that's why it looked smaller. Everything looks smaller that far away! That's my story and I'm sticking to it!😁 Out to the casino tonight. Let's see if my luck is any better there.

Fishing was slow this afternoon. Wife came out today. Nothing happening and she says, "throw something on you never use." Rebel Red Neck. (Can you even buy these anymore?) Well, I did and guess who caught the only fish! 🤣

Got out this afternoon for a bit. I tried to beat the Heron's catch. I think he still has me.🤔. We we're going to go out again after dinner but we got into the wine 🍷. I guess we'll have to get a bigger one tomorrow!😁

Who needs a rod and reel!🤔😁
