Recent Catches At Harmony Lake

Caught my first fish with fly rod setup. Three in a row though small it was a blast. Now to figure out how to get the big ones I watched surface. The two turtles showed up and kept getting in the way of my fly fishing so I switched to bobber fishing. Caught first one on a plastic worm and he became bait. All thw next catches were on white perch bait. First good size yellow perch I have seen so far this year. And I do not know what the last fish is. It was getting dark. He was not a perch nor a brown bullhead. Some kind of minnow? (P.S. I believe it was a Creek Chub). I need to figure out how to get rid of the turtles...

Brought in 5 white perch (1 × 11") and 2 brown bull heads. 2 turtles showed up and fishing was done. Note the turtle off to the left and the look on the perch with one of its smaller brethren dead in front of it. I know what I would be thinking... uh, oh...

Small White Perch on Berkley Gulp! Natural worm. Damn snapping turtles showed up right after I made my first cast and that quickly brought an end to the afternoons fishing. It chased my casts around and scared off the fish.

White Perch are the most active fish in this water but Yellow Perch and Brown Bull Heads will take your line easily as well. I am still trying to figure out what the Lake Trout will hit but I see them swim by under my kayak so I know they are here.
