This nice brown trout hit the first cast of my 40-minute game this afternoon on the Bow River

I think this is a bull trout, but I am not sure! Pls help me if you can. If it's correct, then this is my first bull triut ever Deep dark body with bright white dots! The app failed to identify what fish it is

My first catch of the year 2025 - a good-sized brown trout Haven't able to fish much this winter and tried a few times last couple of weeks without any luck, but today on the Bơw river this brown like my spoon!

Eventually, I got evidence that my new flies work 😀. In the last few sessions, I used flies that I tied but only got a few bites, not landed any until today

Testing some new flies that I tied. Got three bites, among which one landed only. She bit my tiny spoon, not my fly. So, I'm still not sure if my new flies work or not :)
