Bridgeport, West Virginia

Caught some bluegill today at a pond in Bridgeport, it was cold and I got 4 catches, got a lot of bites at this one spot, I came to this spot last year and that was when I got 7 catches, I went around the whole pond but only got bites in one area, it was fun but I had to leave because of the rain.

Went fishing with my dad today, went to a few spots in Bridgeport, first was hinkle lake, had nothing after 3 hours of being there, then we went to Deegan lake and had nothing after 2 hours, then went and grabbed lunch at subway, and headed to a pond we don't know the name of, this is where we caught our fish, my dad caught 4 fish, he had the first fish caught, every time we went to a lake or pond I set up my new fish trap and put bread in it, the bread made all of the bluegill come to one spot, so once I saw it I told my dad that it was my spot now 😂, so after casting there, right when thing bait hit the water I was catching fish here and there, and eventually outfished my dad with 7 fish! The fish trap worked great and we got a bunch of little minnows and bluegill for live bait, live bait did not catch us anything so the other fish were lucky they didn't get used for bait, the new crappie king bait didn't work, we will try it another day, but it was an awesome fishing day, caught all of those fish right before a storm came in! It was a great day!

Went fishing with my son today, we had a great time, we went to 3 fishing spots, the first 2 we had no luck, but the 3rd one I caught for bluegill, they were nailing fake maggots and minnows in a spot that my son claimed as his, because his trap was making bigger bluegill come check it out, so he made a comeback and outfished me with 7 catches! His minnow trap worked good, got a lot of them, but the crappie king bait didn't work, the bluegill were decent size, it was a great day!
