Throwback to North Carolina pulling monsters out of golf course ponds. They don't make them like they do down south.

So pops said he didn’t feel like fishing today, I might need a DNA test, I’m not sure we’re related. So I hit the pond to let’em know we’re still around.

The carp master at it again, as long as the weather holds.

Another successful trip to the pond for Pops. Caught a decent bluegill, had a nice carp break the hook and fed the Koi. He’s in his element.

Pops was having a bit of a tuff day ( dementia sucks) getting a fish on the line might not help, but it can’t hurt.

Been busy getting my dad moved into memory care and stopping by daily. Got permission to fish their pond. Haven’t found a bass yet, but got this thing on a drop shot and the gill on a whopper plopper. Hopefully be fishing more in a couple weeks after the dust settles.

First keeper summer flounder finally, weather and fishing in the bay has been sucking most of this year. The problem is all the rain on east coast, all the rivers run from the mountains. So when you have chicken shit, pig shit, cow shit washing down from the farms. By the time it gets to the Chesapeake bay, you have jack shit. Hope everybody is having a good year, even though it's over half done.
