Went out on a chilly & super windy afternoon to try out my new Lew’s baitcaster reel on a 7’ Berkley rod. I was throwing a Googan 5” Lunker Log. Not the bass I was hoping to find, but a jackfish is fun too.

They say these fish have small mouths, but this is ridiculous! This little guy was the only catch of the day for me. 😮‍💨

After not getting any bites in deeper water of the neighborhood lake, I tried a few casts toward the shoreline and struck black crappie gold! This guy is one of the biggest and blackest I have ever caught (really setting up you comedians out there so have fun with that 😜)! Oh, and GO TIGERS!!! 😸🧡💪🏀💪🤘8️⃣
