Wasn’t expecting this guy to smack the little beetle spin. Was a very good fight and he ended up coming unhooked as soon as I netted him.

Kid was smoking them yesterday. 15 in trout, 10.5 red drum and a ray.

Kid was smoking them today. 15in trout, 10.5 drum, and pulled a hook out of the rays butt, leftover from a previous catch I’m assuming. All released and healthy.

New place at a golf course. Bass were around but not hungry, I’m guessing from the heat advisory. Pulled up about 6 turtles and he caught this little guy.

This was from yesterday, kid slays blue gill.

Thunderstorm fishing. It’s the biggest blue gill I’ve ever seen pulled out of this river.

He asked my “why do we always catch bass, bowfin and bluegills?”

Easiest catch ever. Little man spotted it and I just dunked a rattle bait and he gulped it.
