Went down to the river for a few hrs. Action picks up when the sun gets low enough to shade the water. Usually about 7:15, but the beaver was around for a little. Just after sunset, this little beat-up schoolie smashed my waking minnow. Rapala balsa extreme waking minnow, river slayer not so much on the Pack.

My buddy and I took my boat for a few hours last night. We landed 4, Will got 2 on bait drifting alewives behind the boat, his other one was on a spook, and mine was in a waking minnow. We had at least 4 fish each bust on our lures with 2 definitely getting stung. Forgot anchor, spotlock worked perfect in some fast current.

Finished up early on the Pack yesterday so ran back out to to Delaware for some shore casting. Landed this Schoolie an hour after sunset. Switched from the spook to a waking bait, seems to be a clutch lure on the river.

No Stripers on the Pack last 2 trips water is just above freezing. Dumped the boat in the Delaware River caught 2 dink Walleye and 1 one for my buddy.

First day out this year and was blessed with this fat daddy.
