Went down to the lake looking for some luck. Was t even trying to catch this bass.

Still got this little guy but it was hard to get out of the water! I guess the little guys do put up a fight.

First time over ever pulled a Smallmouth out of here. Didn’t think they were in here. Got another on back to back casts, but he shook it off. This Rat Lure Battle 1.5 has been the big winner so far these first few days.

Another tough morning. Zero action for my son and I for two hours. We tried a little of everything including night crawlers. A local was down there as well. Nothing for him either. My son headed back up to the house. I got a fish almost immediately after he left. The guy from earlier landed a pike right after me. Pretty sure it was the same pike I caught last night. After talking to him, he said this spot is just fished out. I have to somewhat agree. It’s not like it used to be, but still good fish.
