Keeper! This is from Sunday, great sand eel bite first thing in the morning. Many fish caught on the calmest surf I’ve ever seen, was a shame there were no fluke to target.

Didn’t run into any striper or blues, luckily the fluke are still biting great. I did ask a fish and game warden the other day who said it is legal to target fish out of season for catch and release, at least fluke.

A keepep tog avoided me yet again, the bite is very finicky now that it’s cold, so to get some meat I targeted sundails for the first time and we landed enough for dinner. Cooked up good over the campfire.

26 inches followed by a 33 inches the damn camera light wouldn’t work oh well. 3 in 2 hours
