The last catches were a couple tiny largemouth and one decent half pound. One of the small ones looked almost black in person, and the half pound had some of the coolest coloration I've ever seen on a largemouth.

Not many perch at this lake.

Green sunfish in this body of water, too.

Haven't been to this lake since early last year. I have to say, it was much better than last time, but it still doesn't quite compare to the other lakes I mostly fish at. Overall, for the drive, I probably won't be coming back here again any time soon.

this weekends been rough. my uncle frank passed away (with the snapper). went fishin today and had zero luck on one of his favorite lakes. just before a storm i tried 1 spot and got one bite and landed a 17 incher. he was there to give me that bite. gonna miss him a ton. rest easy frank.

pre fishing and caught a pretty nice one!
