He says he is getting nibbles. I told him it was bullhead and then he caught this one.

Snapping turtle opener is today in Minnesota. Must be 12 inch shell length to keep and this is the first year a turtle license is required along with your fishing license to keep them. Limit is 3. My brother caught this one while fishing for catfish. I told him it was a sign that they wanted him to get a turtle license. 11 inch shell length for this turtle and we released it back.

Thought it was a musky from far away but turn out to be a pike. Made my cousin a believer in liver for pike today. Pike will eat liver as I found out previously. The liver strike again.

My brother caught this bass further out on a slip sinker rig also known as a carolina rig. He was using a live small size sucker about 4 inches.

I got 1 perch today.

I caught this baby crappie jigging a fathead minnow under my slip-bobber.

I caught 9 bass today drifting a slip-bobber with a fathead minnow 3 feet and less. All the bass came from this area. The biggest one was 0.97lb.
