One small, aggressive pike to end off the day. 100% worth going out, and a very relaxing session. Probably won't go back to this lake, but it was for sure worth trying out.

One very small, very beat-up crappie.

Even managed to get out and try a new lake after school the next day as well. Not a lot of fish, but very calming as there were not any other people on the entire lake, and the walk from the landing to the fishing spot was less than 0.1 miles.

I guess I forgot to post the crappie last night 😅. Great way to kill an hour or two after school. It's always fun when the crappie are biting, even if they aren't huge.

Was amazingly warm Thursday, warm enough to go out in just a sweatshirt and jeans. For the hour we were out there, it was a good variety of catches. Not just small angry perch.

Caught another shiner, too. Plus, cool moon.
