Shelter in place small mouth. Water was like glass. After dark, only had a small window through the trees to cast. Could only cast 40 feet. Small spinner bait. I knew I could call them in like a turkey. Took 20 minutes for the first one. Moved down the shoreline 60 feet to another hole in the trees. 15 min to call in the second one. So many times driving home from work in the last month and all the lakes and ponds are like glass. Finally I got out there, even if it was after dark!!

Idk weight or length but 3rd pike ever and definitely a solid lil river monster 👹🎣

Out with my kiddo and we catch this one! My kiddo was so excited, I was too 😂🎣.

Prayed and told the Lord, if it was his will for me to have a fish then send me one, if not, then I was just thankful for the time I got with Him while out. Right after, I casted and this one immediately got hooked! God is SOOO good!
