Not trying to brag or anything, but snagged this bad boy yesterday 😏 He was a fighter, indeed. Almost lost hope. But I persevered, and it paid off. Threw him back in, because such a magnificent animal deserves to be free and pass his immaculate genes to future generations. 🥴

Caught a blind(?) catfish yesterday 😬 Hope you all have been having a lot of fun and luck out there!

Maaaan....went about 2 hours last night without a bite(NOT EVEN BLUEGILL lol). Finally got a little catfish, then went another hour and a half with no bites. Finally the luck started turning around! - Got my biggest fish/catfish EVER - Did my first catch, clean, cook with said catfish. And DIDN'T start a fire while frying like last time I tried it 🙃 - Got my first bass(I'm assuming that's what it is in the 5th picture. Please correct me if I'm wrong!!) - Lost my sunglasses somewhere in the process of reeling in the big catfish...😭) So much fun ❤️

A few of this week's best catches. Think I'm actually starting to get kinda good!! 🥹 Either the first or fourth picture was the biggest, not sure. Time to invest in a scale lol. Also, hooked something HUGE. I don't think my cheap pole would have been able to handle it anyway, but the fish got loose and BENT MY HOOK!!

Omg I caught my first catfish this evening!! 😱😱😱 There's hope! 😆

Thank goodness for bluegill....otherwise I'd pretty much never catch anything 🙃
