I had just talked to an old retired guy who said they had recently stocked this pond with about 100 finger length bass....and then I caught one!

Not gonna lie, I don't like coming to this pond. It's overfished and under managed, but my kids LOVE the playground here.... ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

I fished my way around this pond with my trusty dependable Rebel Teeny R, and got nothin'. So I got to thinking, it's sunny out - why not use a spinner? I'd lost my Vibrax Minnow on a snag recently, so I grabbed this Rooster Tail I'd picked up on a lark. 5 casts in and I was thinking, "wow that's a lot of resistance, I must've snagged some grass!" But then my rod began to BEND and I was like, "oh, that's a fish!" I got so excited reeling him in, he was half out of the water most of the way in. 🤣 Anyhow,if Fishial AI is to be trusted, this is my first Crappie, and also my first Rooster Tail catch!
