RANDOM MINI FISHING EXPLORATION - Ponds & Lakes Last week I had to take a friend of mine to an appointment about an hour away from where we live. She was going to be about 1-2 hours. The choices were…go to the nearest Shopping Centre and spend money or check out the maps on FishAngler to find the nearest waterway. Well the choice was easy! I’d never fished that particular area before and it’s quite suburban. Anyhoo off I went and fished some close by ponds and lakes. One turtle later I realised that the ponds I was fishing were completely closed off with no fishies. So went a bit further out and found a lake that had access to the main surf channel. So nice and salty. The wind was strong and I honestly didn’t think I’d catch a fish after the turtle episode….but a nice Bream found it’s way onto my hook! I was so happy.
