Unbelievably, this was my last catch for the session. Just after this, a huge storm front pulled through with strong gusts of wind, and I nearly lost my gazebo. Later, after the rugby, another front pulled through, and I nearly lost my tent due to sparks from our boma fire. Packed up the next morning to go celebrate a great couple of days despite the difficulties in between.

Half an hour later, another little Mudfish- I'll take it!!

I decided to put my short rod in with some earthworms as I was getting absolutely no bites on my normal setup. Having played around with this presentation the day before, I thought I'm going to pick up another Barble, but I was pleasantly surprised after setting the hook, and this little V6 took off in typical fight for your life style.
